About
Built for the charities that do the most with the least.
Golden Hint exists so that charities can help each other get good at the things they struggle with. It's free, and it's an initiative of the Rouben Malian Memorial Foundation Inc.
Our mission
To stop the knowledge that already exists inside the charity sector from staying trapped inside individual organizations.
Most nonprofits in the United States are small, and many have no paid staff at all. They're run by people who are expert in their cause but have to learn bookkeeping, law and fundraising on the fly. Golden Hint gives them a place to trade what they know, a complete guide to starting well, and a library for every hard part.
